Rent a Satisfactory server

Satisfactory requires you to claim the server after installation, the step most guides begin with. Here it happens automatically.

What you can configure yourself

All 9 server settings are in the control panel, fully covered, nothing left that needs the console. They're driven through the game's HTTPS interface, not a file that gets overwritten on the next start.

The server claim you're spared

A fresh Satisfactory server starts out unowned: you have to connect in-game, claim it, set an admin password and create a session before anyone can play. That's where most of the time goes when self-hosting.

With us that step runs automatically as part of provisioning. You get a server that is already claimed and that you can connect to directly.

Bringing saves

Upload an existing save as a file and select it as the active session. Make sure game versions match: after a major update an old save won't load reliably, which is a property of the game rather than the server.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to claim the server myself?

No. The claim runs automatically during provisioning; you can connect straight away.

Can I upload my single-player save?

Yes, via the file manager. Game versions must match.

How many settings can I change?

All nine that Satisfactory offers server-side. We cover them completely, nothing is left for the console.

How do I connect to the server?

Open the Server Manager in the game, “Add Server” and enter address with port from the control panel. With us the server is already claimed.

How many players fit on it?

Satisfactory is set to four players by default. More only via a game config file our panel doesn't manage. Deliberately no field for it, because the game doesn't officially offer it as a server setting.

What happens when Satisfactory updates?

The server checks for a new version via SteamCMD on every start and downloads it. You can set a fixed daily restart in the control panel. After big updates, check that your save still loads.

Do I have to cancel when I want to stop?

No. Billing is monthly in advance: if you don't pay the next invoice, the contract ends with the paid period. You can cancel at any time via “Cancel contract” in the client area, effective at the end of the paid period. After that the server is suspended and deleted three days later, backups included. Download your world from the “Backups” tab first.
