We provide

  • Node.js runtime, always on
  • panel with console and live log
  • file access over SFTP
  • a restart button
  • backups included
  • server, network and address

You provide

  • your bot's code
  • its dependencies and start command
  • the bot token
  • the debugging when it won't start

What we provide: the runtime environment, panel, console, file access, backups and a restart button. What we don't provide: debugging your bot. If it doesn't start, that's on your code. We can't help with that, and at this price it would be dishonest to promise it. If you need help programming, we're not the right fit; if you're after a reliable box, we are.

How ordering works

Pick a tier, pay, upload your code.

1 · Pick a plan
“Order” takes you straight to the cart in the client portal. You see the tier and price once more there before anything is paid.
2 · Create an account
New here? Create an account, otherwise sign in with your existing one. All services and invoices then sit in one place.
3 · Pay the invoice
You pay the first invoice right in the portal. We never debit your account. You release every later invoice yourself too.
4 · Get going
Once payment arrives, the system sets everything up automatically. Then upload your code via file manager or SFTP and start the bot in the control panel.

Bot hosting questions

What we provide, what you provide, and where the line is.

Which languages run?
Node.js, so JavaScript and TypeScript. TypeScript needs no build step of its own; the bot starts via tsx. We don't offer Python at the moment.
How does my code get onto the server?
Via the file manager in the control panel or via SFTP. If there's a package.json in the main folder, the server installs the dependencies itself on every start. The start file is index.js by default.
Where does the bot token go?
Into a .env file on the server, not into the code and never into a public repository. A token in a repository is the most common way bots get taken over.
How much memory does my bot need?
Less than most expect: a bot that answers commands usually gets by with a few hundred megabytes. It needs more if it streams music, keeps lots of data in memory or runs on very many servers.
Do you help if my bot won't start?
With the server yes, with the code no. If the bot doesn't start, it's almost always its code or dependencies. At this price we can't help with that, and promising it would be dishonest.
Are backups included?
Yes, up to 7 per server in the “Backups” tab: create, download, restore. On top, the server makes one automatically every night; the last 7 are kept, and one you mark with “Lock” is never deleted.
Do I have to cancel when I want to stop?
No. Billing is monthly in advance: if you don't pay the next invoice, the contract ends with the paid period. You can cancel at any time via “Cancel contract” in the client area, effective at the end of the paid period. After that the service is suspended and deleted three days later, backups included. Download anything you want to keep first.
