Rent an Arma 3 server
Arma 3 isn't a game you host on the side. The configuration is extensive, mods are the norm, and that's exactly what we built the panel for.

What you can configure yourself
31 fields from `server.cfg` in the control panel, grouped by access, players, security, gameplay, voting, mods and operations, plus two dedicated list editors for the message of the day and the admin whitelist. BattlEye remote control is verified live here and reports real player counts back into the panel.

Why Arma 3 needs a real server
Arma missions run for hours, with many participants and usually a substantial mod set. Hosting from inside the game ties all of that to a single machine that someone is also playing on: the worst possible place for mission logic.
A dedicated server separates the two. The mission runs on its own, the mod set lives in one place, and the group connects to a fixed address instead of a rotating host.
Mods and missions
Upload mods via file manager or SFTP and register them in the mod settings. Missions go into the mission folder. One note from practice: some values in `server.cfg` (including maximum players and server password) are overwritten by Arma from the start parameters on every launch. Here those fields are wired to the start parameters and stay put; self-hosters typically hunt this bug for a long time.

Frequently asked questions
Does BattlEye RCON work?
Yes, verified live. The panel reads the current player count through it.
Why does my maximum player count reset?
Because Arma writes certain values from the start parameters over `server.cfg` on launch. Here those fields are wired to the correct source so they stay.
Can I run large mod sets?
Yes. Expect corresponding memory use and longer start times, and pick your tier generously.
How do my friends connect?
In the Arma 3 launcher via the server browser → direct connect with address and port from the control panel. Everyone needs the same mods as the server; the launcher fetches missing Workshop mods if they're subscribed there.
What happens when Arma 3 updates?
The server updates itself on start. The switch “Update automatically on start” is in the control panel and on by default. Switch it off and the version stays put until you switch it back on.
How do I back up missions and profiles?
In the “Backups” tab you keep up to 7 backups. On top, the server makes one automatically every night; the last 7 are kept, and one you mark with “Lock” is never deleted.
Do I have to cancel when I want to stop?
No. Billing is monthly in advance: if you don't pay the next invoice, the contract ends with the paid period. You can cancel at any time via “Cancel contract” in the client area, effective at the end of the paid period. After that the server is suspended and deleted three days later, backups included. Download your world from the “Backups” tab first.
